Secular Humanist Group has stand for Human Rights Day
A small group of secular humanists is planning to form an association in Croatia. Together with a network called “Citizens for Citizens” they set up a stand in a public sqaure in the centre of Zagreb on Human Rights Day (December 10) and handed out leaflets, talked to people and collected donations.
They report that some people watched with disapproval and commented that they were “obscene” for advertising atheism so close to Christmas but (they say) “People find something like this very unusual: they will eventually get used to it!”
The group is in touch with the Protagoras Association (below).
